Dr. Uwa Iguobadia
Was born in Nigeria. At the age of 2 years old, she and her family emigrated to the United States and grew up in New Jersey. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University and her Masters of Public Health at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After working in the non-profit sector in Infant Mortality, Dr Iguobadia continued her education in the field of medicine. She graduated Cum Laude from the American University of Antigua. While in New Jersey, Uwa met her husband, Barry, and they later married in 2012. They relocated to Middle Georgia, where she completed her Residency at Children’s Hospital Navicent Health and joined Lifeguard Pediatrics in February, 2017. Uwa and Barry live in Warner Robins and have 3 children: Barry, Jr., 4 years old and Christopher and Victoria who are one-year-old twins. In her spare time, you can find her at the soccer field with her kids.
