While we care for children in these situations, we do not take part in custodial, separation, or financial disputes between parents. Medical care for the child always comes first, and these matters should remain between parents. Both parents have access to a child’s medical records unless we are provided with a court order that states otherwise.
All copays, coinsurance, and deductibles are due at the time of service and are collected from the parent or guardian who brings the child to the appointment. We do not bill for copays. If insurance cannot be verified before the visit, the accompanying parent will be responsible for the total visit cost at that time.
Requests for immunization records and health form completion, such as school physicals or medication forms, are typically completed within 24 to 48 hours. A small fee applies if forms are requested outside of an office visit, and full copies of medical records are available for an additional fee.
We understand that schedules can be busy, and we’re happy to help reschedule when possible. However, missing or breaking three appointments may result in dismissal from the practice. This policy helps us ensure timely care for all families who need appointments. Emergency care will still be provided for a limited period following dismissal.
Prescription refill requests are handled within 24 hours. Refills are sent to your pharmacy or made ready for pickup on the next business day after your request, helping ensure your child stays on track with their medication.
